Leon is an Agile evangelist and Software Development professional with over 20 years of management, project management and software delivery experience, the last 10 years in Agile and Lean methods, especially Scrum.

In his career, he has been a Program Director, Manager, PM, BA and Agile Practice Lead, largely in the healthcare industry leveraging delivery methodologies. He has been a leader at BCBSNC in Enterprise Portfolio, Program and Project Management arenas.

​

He started the first Agile team at BCBSNC in January 2008. The team delivered a 300% ROI in its very first year. 

​

He has championed Agile Adoption and Transformation at BCBSNC, as well as locally, regionally and nationally through his participation in company Agile Communities of Practice, Agile Centers of Excellence, local Agile meetups, TriAgile.org (a local Agile Day), regionally with the Scrum Gatherings, and nationally with Agile 20XX.

He has worked with and coached Agile/Scrum teams since 2008 and is very familiar with Lean, Six Sigma, Kanban, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for the enterprise).

He is interested in working with other motivated professionals to spread Agile Adoption and Transformation.
